What is sirium.net? It's a project that I run as a (serious!) hobby - I have many of my own web sites and it is cheaper in the long run for me to have my own server, which I sell space on to friends and family. It doesn't make a profit, but it helps pay the server bills each month. Well, OK, I'm also a control freak and it means that I don't have to deal with overloaded and unreliable servers (I have been monitoring the server since 2005 and still have over a 99.9% uptime).
